WARKWORTH MENS REBUS
CLUB HISTORY.

The Warkworth Men's Rebus Club, formerly a Probus Club, only requirement is that new members are nominated & seconded by an existing member, previous occupations are not a suitability requirement for membership. As part of the process in establishing a separate identity for NZ Clubs who were previously affiliated to Probus South Pacific Ltd (PSPL) in Australia, we have now been required to change our name and have chosen to become an affiliate of Rebus NZ Incorporated. Whilst retention of the Probus name would have been our preference, that has not proved possible because of Trademark rights acquired by PSPL. However, in all other respects, the objects and activities of our Club will remain unchanged from those in place since 1985. The Warkworth Men's Rebus Club's meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, with a break during the Christmas holidays. Our Club is renowned for its informality, friendship and atmosphere. Club meetings may consist of a brief club speaker followed by morning coffee or tea and biscuits. A main speaker follows on a topic of interest to the members.
